Step 6 & 7: Standardization & Autonomous Management

-In these steps, essential conditions for “ Safety” such as 5S and One point lesson should be carried out.
-Review and revision of various standards.
-Thorough implementation of autonomous management through accident prevention training.

Step 4 & 5 : Overall Inspection & Autonomous Inspection

Fostering people who are extremely skillful with equipment and processing conditions must be achieved through skill development based on past accident occurrence cases.
Through “ Overall Inspection” of equipment that strong potential of accident occurrence.
Through “ Autonomous Inspection” that reinforces its tie-up with planned maintenance to prevent accident reoccurrence.

Step 3 : Preparation of Tentative Jishu hozen standard

To clearly point out spots whose inspection is required for safety purposes.

Step 2 : Countermeasures for sources of problems and difficult spots.

Improvements are implemented for the malfunctions.
- In countermeasures for sources of problems, the arrangement of local covering, which gives consideration of safety.
- In countermeasures for difficult spots, the locations where cleaning and inspection and oiling cannot executed without entry into dangerous area should be identified & improvements.

The detection of safety and environmental malfunctions and the rectification of those malfunctions.

SHE - Safety, Health & Environment

SAFETY :
•Identify areas which are unsafe places and unsafe practices which will lead to accidents
•Do kaizens / take countermeasures to eliminate them

HEALTH :-
•Identify areas which will lead to health problems for the employees like smoke, fumes, heat, chemicals etc
•Map the areas for each of them independently
•Do kaizens / take countermeasures to eliminate/reduce them.

ENVIRONMENT :-
•Identify what are the things that are being done in the organization which are leading to environmental pollution
•Do kaizens / take countermeasures to eliminate /reduce them
